Avinash Reddy Bail Hearing: SC Disappointed With HC:- Supreme court on Tuesday directed Telangana High Court to place YS Avinash Reddy's anticipatory bail petition before the vacation bench on May 25th. Avinash Reddy is currently in Hyderabad looking after his ill mother, who complained of chest pain while she was organising her morning prayers. Supreme Court was disappointed with the High Court’s delay in anticipatory bail decision. This happened while the Supreme court was hearing a petition filed by Suneetha Reddy challenging the decision of the Telangana high court.

YS Avinash Reddy's advocate appealed to the court that Telangana High Court has listened to the hearing on the anticipatory bail plea for two days and then adjourned it to June 5th.

SC judge questioned HC, It is just an anticipatory bail and why you (High Court) are taking too long time to pass a judgement on the anticipatory bail plea? The high court heard the matter twice in April and they dint conclude it as the court was heading for vacation. Apex court has set a deadline to June 30th and asked to give a conclusion before that.

YS Avinash Reddy skipped CBI inquiry for the last three times due to his mother’s illness. Suneeth Reddy's advocate Siddharth Luthra mentioned the same before the court. He said, Avinash Reddy was summoned three times by CBI and he skipped attending on flimsy grounds. Avinash Reddy is allegedly facing a probe on YS Vivekananda Reddy's murder case.
