Terrible Triple Train Crash kills more than 290 in Odisha:- In a massive train accident happened at Balasore the death toll raised to 290. Nearly 49 trains have been cancelled and 38 trains have been diverted. Many passengers are still trapped in the overturned coaches of the superfast trains.
According to railway officials, this was the deadliest train accident that happened in the nation. The accident happened near Bahanaga Bazar Station in the Balasore district. The accident happened at around 7 PM. Wielding gas torches and electric cutters are being used in the rescue operations. The injured have been treated in seven hospitals. Identified bodies are handover to the relatives after autopsy. For unidentified bodies, the statutory procedure will be followed and that will be by DNA tests or fingerprint tests.

The incident took place after the Coromandal Shalimar Express derailed and hit the goods train. Another train Yeshvantpur-Howrah Superfast on another track collided with the derailed coaches. The tragedy happened between 6:50 PM to 7:00 PM, that is in a time span of 10mins the terrible accident took place. In coming two to three hours the rescue operations will be completed, according to officials.
For complete renewal, it might take more time. Balasore has a medical college operating currently treating the victims and seriously injured 200 people were shifted to Cuttack and Bhuvaneshwar for better treatment. Nearly 350 are under treatment in the Balasore district and 200 were been discharged.
