Different Versions For the Removal of Bandi Sanjay:- After a humiliating defeat of the BJP in Karnataka, the party has started to revamp its internal affairs. After several consultations between the party leaders, BJP has replaced its state presidents. In Telangana Bandi Sanjay Kumar was replaced by Kishan Reddy. There are many speculations about the removal of Bandi Sanjay. Let’s us take a look at the reasons for Sanjay replacement.
Extortion of Funds :
Bandi Sanjay was alleged for extortion of funds, which was collected from many wealthy individual supporters of the BJP to reach the expenses of his padayatra. Bandi Sanjay performed four phases of Padayatra between October 2021 and September 2021, called Praja Sangrama Yatra. He allegedly collected Rs 100Cr in the name of the party and spent only Rs 30Cr of funds on Padayatra. Many leaders inside the party have raised concerns and complained to the high command regarding the same. Many guess that this might be one of the reasons for his replacement.
Caste Politics :
As Congress Party is being led by A Revanth Reddy in Telangana, the BJP party to attract voters of the Reddy community appointed Kishan Reddy by replacing Bandi Sanjay Kumar is another version of his replacement.
Provocative Statements :
Bandi Sanjay is known for his controversial statements. He was never silent about BRS and took a strong dig against KCR governance. Sanjay once passed a statement on K Kavitha, saying ED would kiss Kavitha instead of arresting her. He also passed statements on the RRR movie and Rajamouli for taking the names of Komaram Bheem in the film. Many BJP senior leaders raised their voices on Bandi Sanjay's immature statements. This time BJP want someone to be stable and settled. Even though Sanjay is silent for a few days, BJP wanted a new face and replaced him with Kishan Reddy.
High Profile Entries’:
BJP party has high-profile entries into the party from BRS and Congress like Etela Rajender and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. Dubbaka MLA, Raghunandan Rao has openly criticized Sanjay’s leadership as he felt these are upsetting equations of the party.
All these circumstances have turned Bandi Sanjay Kumar to step down as Telangana state BJP president.
