YS Jagan Lays Foundation Stone For Oberoi Hotel:- Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Sunday laid the foundation stone for the construction of Oberoi Group of Hotels at Gandikota, Vizag and Tirupati. As per the MoU happened between the AP government and Oberoi hotels in the Global Investors Summit at Vishakapatnam in March 2023.
At Vizag region, Oberoi will be established in the 42-acre area belonging to Annavaram coastal region under Bheemili mandal. YS Jagan has laid the foundation stone virtually for Vizag and Tirupati Oberai hotels. At Gandikota, popularly known as the grand canyon of India, Jagan addressed the public after performing bhumi pooja. YS Jagan said that this establishment will provide employment for 500 to 800 persons locally. The project is estimated at a cost of Rs 350 Cr and will be a 7-star luxury resort.

YS Jagan on this occasion requested Vikram Oberoi to explore the locations around the Kadapa region and look into the possibility of developing a golf course.
District Collector V Vijaya Rama Raju, Tourism Unique CS Dr Rajat, Jammalamadugu MLA Dr M Sudheer Reddy, YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy, Tourism Minister MK Roja along with Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha were present at the event.
