Woman Should Cover Their Faces For Allah: Taliban's:- Taliban comes out again with an outrage to restrict women from showing their faces. A spokesman from a key ministry of Afghanistan’s Taliban government said that their religious scholars in the country want women to cover their faces when they are outside their residences.

In August 2021, the Taliban took over the country and cited many restrictions on women. They have asked to wear the hijab or an Islamic headscarf in all public places including workplaces, study places and also at parks.

A spokesperson of the Taliban ministry claimed that women showing their faces in public is falling into sin. Molvi Mohammad Sadiq Akif, a spokesperson has said in an interview.

He called it sad to see women without hijab. He said that a woman's face can be harmed or damaged, it is not her face that is being caused damage, it's her respect that is getting from Allah.

While many others oppose Molvi Mohammad Sadiq Akif's comments about covering the face.

Shaykh Zayed a lecturer of Islamic Studies at Cambridge University claims that there is no scriptural mandate in Islam that asks to face the woman's face and he bet any Taliban would show their scripture over their perception.

He also claimed that Talibans follow some basic textbooks used in Village madrassas, religious schools. He also says that the restrictions on girls and women by the Taliban are creating global outrage.
