Vizag Ticket : Purandeswari Vs GVL:- While BJP Andhra Pradesh State president Daggubati Purandeswari is trying for her hattrick win from Vizag Lok Sabha, GVL Narasimha Rao started showing his muscles in the city with strong flexes.

"We conquered the Moon.. now we want the sun.. Modi 4 World and GVL 4 Vizag”. These are the flexes turned up in Vizag in support of GVL Narasimha Rao. GVL started politics in Vizag just a year ago, while Purandeswari won from Visaka Lok sabha in 2009 and 2019 and now she is looking for her hat trick win. Purandeswari contested from Rajampet in 2014 and faced defeat. Now she is strongly trying for Vizag seat once again to enter into the parliament.

But after winning the election in 2019, Purandeswari has shifted her focus from Vizag as she was appointed the BJP party’s national general secretary and as a Mahila Morcha in charge. But when it comes to GVL, he is focused on Vizag and also visiting the city frequently.

GVL also gathered some support in Vizag. Many hoardings were displayed in Vizag wishing the success of Aditya L1 and also Chandrayaan 3 in Jagadamba centre, Railway Station, Muralinagar and many other key areas adding the name of GVL.

There is a tug-of-war between Purandeswari and GVL for the Vizag ticket and the BJP high command will mostly prioritise Purandeswari as she is going to play a key role in AP alliances.
