Kesineni Nani announces quitting TDP and MP's position:- Telugu Desam MP Kesineni Srinivas, also known as Nani, revealed that TD leader Chandrababu Naidu has informed him that he will not be receiving the party ticket for Vijayawada in the 2024 elections. Nani expressed his willingness to comply with Naidu's instructions regarding his involvement in party affairs in NTR district. In a Facebook post, he stated that he had been advised by a group of TD leaders to refrain from attending Naidu's public meeting in Tiruvuru on January 7.
Nani vehemently denied betraying Naidu and asserted that he had no desire to leave his side, as it was Naidu who was keeping him at a distance. He emphasized that he would continue to serve as the Lok Sabha member from Vijayawada until May 2024 and confidently declared his intention to secure a third consecutive victory in the upcoming elections. Even if he were to run as an independent candidate, Nani made it clear that he was determined to return to Delhi as an MP.
I intend to arrange for a private plane to be chartered."
Expressing his belief in the people of Vijayawada, Kesineni asserted that they would ultimately determine his political fate. "Having undertaken numerous initiatives in the constituency, I am confident in my chances of winning the elections. If I find myself unemployed, my constituents and supporters will not remain silent," he stated.
Kesineni Nani emphasized that engaging in petty political conflicts did not align with his character, and added, "However, this does not imply that I am feeble or submissive. I refrained from attending the Tiruvuru meeting solely to avoid any potential troubles. Similarly, I chose not to participate in Lokesh's Yuva Galam padayatra in Vijayawada to ensure its peaceful progress."
