YS Jagan conducting one more survey in AP:- CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has relied heavily on survey reports to select his party candidates for MLA and MP elections. However, despite having already finalized candidates for most constituencies, new media reports suggest that Jagan is once again using this survey strategy. It is said that Jagan has commissioned a new survey to assess the chances of victory for YCP candidates, taking into account the first list announced by the Telugu Desam and Janasena alliance.
While the initial surveys aimed to identify the best available YCP candidates, this new survey will be more analytical in nature and will compare YCP's candidates with those announced by TDP-JSP. According to the media, Jagan may even make changes to the candidates based on the results of this new survey. This means that the current YCP in-charges of certain constituencies could be replaced based on Jagan's request for the survey. It is clear that the TDP-JSP list has not only affected the alliance ecosystem, but also the leadership of YCP.
The Assembly and Parliament elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to take place in April this year and the results are expected to be out in May this year.
