Phone Tapping Case: KTR's legal notices to Congress Leaders:- MLA Srinivas Reddy also reported the unauthorized monitoring of his phone calls before the elections to DGP Ravi Gupta. He alleged that a former BRS minister had given the order for this act. Mahender Reddy claimed that influential political figures, based on the tapped phone conversations, warned him against supporting BRS corporators from Rajanna Sircilla district in joining the Congress party. On April 3, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) sent official notifications to Telangana Congress leaders accusing them of defamation in relation to their allegations of his involvement in the phone tapping incident. KTR issued these notices to minister Konda Surekha, MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy, and another Congress leader K Mahender Reddy.

The former minister has also sent legal notifications to various media organizations and YouTube channels. KTR has cautioned that if an apology is not issued within a week, he will take legal action for defamation. He has clearly stated that he will not tolerate "baseless allegations" made against him and has warned that he will not hesitate to pursue legal measures against even Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

The BRS leader addressed the issue of KTR's alleged involvement in phone tapping, stating that the allegations show a clear intention to damage the reputation of the BRS MLA. During a press conference on Monday, Konda Surekha accused KTR of engaging in phone tapping and intimidating actresses. She also claimed that KTR and his father, former chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), would soon be arrested for their involvement in the scandal. This statement was made in relation to the current imprisonment of BRS MLC and KCR's daughter, K Kavitha, in the Delhi excise policy case. MLA Srinivas Reddy also filed a complaint with DGP Ravi Gupta about the tapping of his phones prior to the elections, alleging that a former BRS minister had ordered it. Mahender Reddy explained that senior political leaders had threatened him based on the phone tapping, warning him not to support BRS corporators from joining the Congress in Rajanna Sircilla district.
