It is now the turn of the former chief minister K. Rosaiah to face a legal case in a land allotment dispute.
One Mr Mohan Lal filed a case in the ACB court at Nampally in Hyderabad alleging that Rosaiah using special powers as the chief minister allotted a land of 9 acres 14 cents at Ameerpet to his followers illegally. Advocate Sri Ranga rao filed the case in the ACB court on behalf of Mr Mohan Lal.
The ACB judge said after examining the case papers that there was a prima facie evidence to admit the case and directed the ACB director general to submit a report by January 28 on the land allotment issue.
Mohan Lal in his complaint charged Rosaiah with allotting the land worth Rs 200 Cr to 14 of his followers illegally for graft at cheapest rates.
