Former minister and Anantapur congress MLA Mr JC Diwakara reddy said that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu has been protecting the government of Kirankumar reddy to ensure its continuance.

Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad today, JC said that in fact the government is facing a crisis at the moment and TDP could have introduced a no-confidence motion against the government if its president wanted. “But he seems to be not interested to bring down the government now,” JC said while answering queries by media persons. “The strength of the government will be known if he introduces a no confidence motion,” he said.

Commenting on the two-eyed philosophy of Chandrababu, the former minister said the TDP has been fast losing ground in the state with his opportunistic policy. He is neither supporting the Telangana state not the cause of united AP and because of this Babu will lose his political ground, Diwakar reddy said.

Diwakar reddy asked him to take a clear stand on the issue at least now. “He should support the united AP openly at least now to keep his party alive in the Seema Andhra area,” he said and added that TDP could have gone for an alliance with the TRS to become stronger in Telangana area.
