TDP suspends Nagam from party

TDP suspends Nagam from partyThe TDP leadership had suspended its senior leader Mr. Nagam Janardhan Reddy from the party.
 
The party politburo, presided over by the president N. Chandrababu Naidu, adopted a resolution unanimously at its emergency meeting last night suspending Janardhan reddy from the party for defiance of the leadership.
 
Chandrababu Naidu, who returned from Delhi Wednesday evening, convened the politburo meeting at his residence and asked the members Nama Nageswara Rao, Ramesh Rathod and Ms. Umamadhava reddy to return to Hyderabad immediately to discuss the resolution submitted to the president by the TDP Telangana Forum recommending Nagam’s expulsion from the party.
 
The three members went to Karimnagar to participate in the TDP Ranabheri public meeting organized by the TDP Telangana Forum demanding separate Telangana state. As soon as they came back to Hyderabad, the politburo met and discussed the issue.
 
The other members who attended the meeting are Dadi Veerabhadra Rao, Kadiyam Srihari, Siddha Raghava Rao and Uppuleti Kalpana. After a discussion, the meeting unanimously decided to suspend Nagam Janardhan Reddy from the party.
 
Later, party general secretary Chandrasekhar Mudiraj read out the contents of the resolution to media persons. The resolution said he was suspended for defying the party discipline.
