Tejaram, who has been charged with a crime in the Macca Masjid blast case, was granted bail by the Nampally Court on Wednesday. He was remanded judicially in December 2012. National Investigation Agency failed to produce a chargesheet even 180 days after the accused was hold in custody.
Court granted bail only to Tejaram who is Accused No.9 in the case, remaining are under judicial remand. Accused No. 5 who is dead, Accused No. 7, is also an accused in the Ajmer dargah blast case and is now under remand there.
Some of the accused in the Macca Masjid blast case are also involved in other similar cases like the Samjhauta Express, Ajmer and Malegaon blast cases.
