The phrase "Atithi Devo Bhavah" epitomizes the spirit of Indian hospitality. We truly consider that the behavior towards our guests defines who we are. But not everybody can live upto our expectations and match our yardstick of hospitality where we consider the visitor as THE GOD himself. Below there is a list of places those seem to be rudest and hostile towards a tourist . Read on to know about the countries where you shouldn't plan your honeymoon trip.
1) France: Voted as the most impolite nation. It is true that Paris is still considered as the most romantic place on earth but that romanticism can get shattered by the rudeness of a Frenchman/ woman. ( In fact France has always tried to rub off it's romantic/delicate tag ...even in their literature...!
2) Russia: Rude ….very rude ...Well what else do you expect from a country where people drinks Vodka along with their breakfast and shoots each other for fun?
3) United Kingdom: Yes...the Irish are way better than the Britons in terms of welcoming a guest. Now we can expect riots in Belfast and celebrations in Dublin...!
4) Germany: The world loves their cars more than it loves the people who build it and in return they don't love the outsiders either...fair deal..!
5) Others: Miscellaneous countries that might include the Balkans, Scandinavia and eastern Europe where the sound of the Kalashnikov is more frequent than chirping of birds...
6) China: Ok...let's be realistic, they don't speak English and you don't speak Chinese ...then from where on earth a welcoming smile will come from? And the shy nature of Chinese people makes their hospitable nature lost in translation....
7) United States: Can you teach a southern Texas or a hillbilly Montana guy some manners? No ...You can't...What the Catholics , Mormons and born again Christian values have failed to do so far how can you even think of doing it?...Damn...
8) Spain: The matador is good with the bull but terrible with other people...Salute BTW..
9) Italy: Do I need to remind you that it was the birthplace of the fascists? ( Well it is the birthplace of Pizza too)
10) Poland: You can't be forever welcoming if you neighbors like Russia and Germany....Remember 1st September /1939? ….a very bad situation to add a LOL indeed...

P.S: India is not in the list because of a simple fact that it doesn't need to. Hospitality runs through our veins and the line "Atithi devo bhavah" has a profound significance in our way of saying WELCOME.
