Telangana Leaders of TDP and Congress Party are taking stern stand against their party chiefs.  It is because of the Telangana fire that is fanned by TRS leader KCR time and again.  As it is felt high time now with the elections fast approaching that the Separate Telangana issue has to be dealt with so that they can face the Telangana people who were promised of getting a separate Statehood for Telangana.  

As the Telangana sentiment is at high now, TRS is taking a firm stand to politically isolate Telangana region keeping it for TRS alone.  Previously they demanded mass resignations of MLAs and MPs of other parties to show their sincerity towards Telangana.  Now a program of Akarsha was launched inviting leaders of other parties to join TRS.  TRS always keeps an ace card over its sleeve.  Whoever doesn’t fall to the calls of KCR is always branded as traitors of Telangana with a call to the public to ban them, thrash them and punish them by not voting in favor of them.  

With a background of heavy sentiment for a separate Telangana, leaders of other parties are not able to sustain the heat from their own power centers and venting it out on their own party chiefs.  

Congress Party leaders gave an ultimatum to AICC to declare their stand without mincing words about formation of Telangana State before 30th May otherwise they are going to leave the party.  It was necessary for them, as they felt, to withstand in their political career.  

Similarly TDP leaders from Telangana region are also demanding TDP Chief to pass a resolution in favor of Telangana in Mahanadu as demanded by KCR.  Six TDP MLAs of Telangana region are ready to cross the TDP fence although it was not told in so many words as Congress MPs did.
