Church Vandalized in Haryana

A church which has been under construction has been vandalized in Haryana yesterday. The incident happened in Kaimri village, Hisar district and 14 people have been arrested who were involved in the incident. A case has been registered as per the complaint lodged by Father Subash Chand of Williwarsh Church and the police have registered cases under the sections 147 (Punishment against riots), 153A (Enemity promotion between the groups), 295 (for destroying a place of worship), 380 (Theft in a buiidling) and 506 (Criminal intimidation).

The police and the Haryana government has taken the incident seriously and revealed that serious action will be taken on all those who support or promote the enemity among the religions. The Haryana police have revealed that the situation has been under control. The villagers revealed that some of their fellow villagers were angry on a priest who tried to convert some locals into Christianity. The villagers have refused to accept Christianity however the priest has been forcing some of them which led to this incident happen.
