“South's Ultimate Superstar” is yet another prestigious title considered by all the cinema lovers of the South. This title is generally given based on the online medium. So it is to be noted that all age groups do not concentrate on online and the voting might differ among the stars.

If the present voting is considered, Ajith is on the top and Vijay is just next to him, rest others are very far away in the race. The poll was actually conducted by Bollywoodlife and it gave these results.

Previously, it was many times that Ajith has topped the list. The actor has a huge following in the online medium. Few of the Telugu actors who were in the race were not even nearer to him.

If the actual figures are to be considered, Pawan Kalyan secured 13.2% votes, Mahesh Babu (7.79%), Rajinikanth (2.91%) Puneet Rajkumar (2.44%), Kamal Haasan (0.59%), Mammootty (0.41%), Mohanlal (0.31%) and Ravi Teja (0.21%) are nowhere near the top two positions as Ajith (36.58%) and Vijay (35.56) are leading the race.      

Rajinikanth enjoys the largest fan following across the world and his films are even well appreciated in the countries like Japan. So for such a huge star, the percentage is just 2.91%.
 
From the figures, It can be clearly known that most of the participants were the fans of Ajith and all the fans or people need not be aware of using internet for voting.
