Mudragada Padmanabham who is in news from past many months questions on pushkaralu stampede.
He said that “all the accused involved in Tuni violence have been arrested. Then why people weren’t arrested after Pushkaralu stampede incident?
Even after knowing about the Tuni agitation, why police did not come to stop the incident? Wasn’t the Tuni agitation neglected?”
Padmanabham also added that “ during Pushkaralu, though VIP Ghat was open, people were made to wait in queue for the photo session.The ghat gates were opened suddenly due to which stampede took place and 33 Pilgrims died on the spot. Why no one is taking action on that incident even after 1 year?”
He said that “Law is not anyone’s relative to change the rules whenever they like.”
CID had arrested six persons in connection with the Tuni violence. The incident had erupted during the Kapu Garjana in January this year. The arrested persons were produced before the magistrate and later shifted to Rajahmundry prison.
