Police have transformed GGH and surrounding areas into a curfew area. A strict vigil was maintained all along the national highway from Rajamahendravaram to Kirlampudi.

As Kapu leader, Mudragada Padmanabham who has been fasting from past 13 days, made it clear that he along with his wife would end fast only after the release of all the 13 persons arrested in connection with Tuni arson.

Meanwhile, Kapu JAC leaders tried to have a word with their leader in order to convince him to end fast as all the 13 arrested in Tuni arson were released on bail. However, the Kapu leader said that he would end his fast only at Kirlampudi.

Kapu leader also insisted officials to shift him to Kirlampudi in police jeep in which he was brought to Rajamahendravaram. However, the officials are trying to convince him that they will shift him in an ambulance.

Earlier, team of doctors led by GGH superintendent, Ramesh Kishore released a health bulletin on the health of Mudragada and his wife.
