Hacking has become very common nowadays. Not only common people, even celebrities social media accounts are hacked. In the latest report,  Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's official Twitter account was hacked on Wednesday. Not only that, multiple abusive tweets were also posted on the politician's account.

Around eight tweets were posted at 8:30 pm. One of the posts read "My family is a bunch of corrupt....(expletives) retarded... (expletives)".


However, the tweets were later deleted after an hour, but immediately hackers posted another tweet.

The hackers have also removed profile picture of the account. They also changed the account title from @OfficeOfRG to an abusive one.

The account was later restored. All objectionable tweets were also removed.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala reacted by tweeting, "@OfficeOfRG hacked. Such lowly tactics will never drown the sane voice of reason nor deter Rahul Gandhi from raising people's issues. (sic)"     

He also tweeted, "Such unscrupulous,unethical&roguish conduct of venal trolls 2hack @OfficeOfRG reflects disturbing insecurities of prevalent fascist culture. (sic)"


"Rahul Gandhi's Twitter handle has been hacked. We will file a complaint with the Cyber Cell of city police," Pranav Jha, Congress's media coordinator told news agency IANS.
