AP Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh has been assigned a prominent role ever since the party won in 2014 elections in the state. Lokesh too has been winning accolades from the party leaders and many leading politicians from the party urged Chandra Babu to bring Lokesh into the party’s cabinet. After months of analysis, Chandra Babu finally announced that Lokesh will be taken into the cabinet in the next reshuffle that will take place soon.

The latest update we hear is that Lokesh will be contesting as MLC in the upcoming elections and he will be placing his nomination on February 28th from East Godavari district where the party has been quite strong. Ministers like Yanamala Ramakrishna and N Chinarajappa have been personally taking care of the election which is expected to take place in March.
