Amit Shah, Ramdev, Gujarat CM Participate In Yoga Camp In Ahmedabad:- In a Yoga camp in Ahmedabad, Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Amit Shah, Yoga guru Ramdev and Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani participated, to celebrate the third International Yoga Day.

Whereas the Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu took to twitter and appealed to the people to make the ancient practice, a part of their daily life in order to experience the serenity of body, mind and spirit.

Naidu tweeted:

“Happy International Yoga Day 2017 to one and all! Make yoga a part of your daily life to experience the tranquility of mind, body & spirit!”

He went on to tweet further :

“Celebrating #InternationalYogaDay with the people of New Delhi, at an event organized by NDMC. Yoga is our tradition, it's our culture.”

“Thanks to PM Modi, Yoga is now an international art; it's neither political nor religious. It brings peace, good health & unity #Yogaday2017”

Undeterred by the early morning rain, thousands had performed Yoga at Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan in Lucknow on Wednesday partially drenched, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi kickstarted the third edition of International Yoga Day there.

To mark the Yoga Day today, hundreds of countries are uniting to mark the occasion. In India as well as in many other countries across the globe, celebrations have already started.

By consensus after adopting a measure proposed by Prime Minister Modi, The International Day of Yoga as June 21 has been declared by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
