Trump’s Aide Set To Be Next US Ambassador To India:- A top aide of the US President, Donald Trump, Mr. Kenneth I Juster is likely to be appointed as the next US ambassador to India.

If nominated and confirmed by the senate, Juster (62) would replace Richard Verma. Juster is the Deputy assistant to the US president for International Economic Affairs and Deputy Director of National Economic Council.

White House deputy spokesperson Lindsay E Walters confirmed to a leading news channel about the news which was first reported by The Washington Post today. Walters said “Ken Juster’s move to Indian Ambassador is because he is extremely qualified for the position.”

“Ken has a strong and positive relationship with everyone in the White House, including the president,” said Walters. Moreover, the top widely respected India expert in the US Ashley Telis has welcomed this move.

Telis told The Washington Post “Ken knows India well and in reality was profoundly involved in prosperous bilateral negotiations between the two countries.The Indians will welcome him enthusiastically. He is a known quantity.”

However, an official announcement has not been made yet. The confirmation of the White House in this regard puts to rest all the speculations. The first Indian-American to head this position, Mr. Verma put in his papers when Trump replaced Barack Obama as the President of the US.
