Close Aide Of Jeevitha-Rajasekhar Arrested For Trafficking Old Currency Notes:- A close aide of Tollywood celebrity couple Jeevitha-Rajasekhar has been arrested for trafficking old currency notes that were banned a few months ago.

As per the media reports, a man named Srinivas Rao was caught red-handed by the Task Force Police. The accused was illegally transporting Rs 5 crore, the entire sum in banned Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes. He has been taken into custody and is being inquired.

Ever since the RBI has recently provided one month time for the exchange of old currency in selected Post Offices and District Corporation Banks, the Task Force has been on high alert. The Task Force police upon receiving information that Srinivasa Rao was trafficking Rs 5 crore, raided his properties and seized the said amount in old currency notes. In the past, Rao was arrested for taking drugs.

The police are investigating if there is any involvement of the celeb couple in the exchange of old notes.
