TDP Cancels “Maha Sankalp Deeskha” Event:- The much-publicized event “Maha Sankalp Deeskha” that was scheduled to be held in the coastal city on Saturday, has been canceled by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
The event was touted as a counter to YSR Congress Party’s (YSRCP) Maha Dharna that was held a couple of days ago. As the TDP leadership felt that they might not match the crowd that the YSRCP commanded, the TDP canceled the Deeksha.
Addressing the media, Deputy Chief Minister N Chinna Rajappa said to commemorate the three-year rule of the party, the TDP is planning to conduct a grand celebration.
