KCR Takes On Opposition Over New Secretariat Issue:- The Assembly members during Question Hour were addressed by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday in the State Assembly.

KCR, clarified that there is no stepping back on the proposal for the construction of the new Secretariat complex in Secunderabad. The government has unveiled its plans to construct Integrated Secretariat complex in the Bison Polo Grounds, in Hyderabad, as it is an international city now, said Mr. KCR.

Mr. KCR countering the Opposition on the same, while also mentioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s positive opinion on constructing an Assembly building with advanced features also cited the examples of the Karnataka, Tamil Nadu's advanced Assembly structures.

The current Secretariat lacked amenities and also in case of a possible fire break-out, there is a problem for the rescue team to come to aid, alleged the Telangana State Chief Minister.

The new secretariat building is going to be constructed with good Vaastu and with all the HODs in the Assembly building, added Mr. KCR.
