UP CM Leaves For Mauritius To Attract Investments For State:- As per UP CMO’s office, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has left for a three-day trip to Mauritius on Wednesday, to attract Non-resident Indian (NRI) investment to the state.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister’s office S.P. Goel and Principal Secretary (information) Avaneesh Kumar Awasthi, accompanied Adityanath, who flew in an Emirates flight around midnight.

An official told a leading news channel that the Chief Minister who is traveling in economy class, renewed his diplomatic passport last week. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister is scheduled to partake in the 183rd NRI day in Mauritius. To mark the first arrival of bonded Indian laborers and slaves to the island nation, the day is being held. Moreover, he is scheduled to meet NRI’s - mostly people from Uttar pradesh and Bihar and urge them to connect with the state and trace their roots.

A meeting will also be scheduled between the Chief Minister and also a group of eminent businessmen of Mauritius. Adityanath would invite them to invest in the state. After assuming office, this is Adityanath’s second foreign visit. To be recalled, in August 2016, Adityanath went to Myanmar to take part in a Buddhist conclave.
