Tamil Nadu Govt To Acquire Jayalalithaa's Home In Four Months:- Ever since Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa passed away, the state witnessed drastic political changes. With AIADMK leading the state, a deadline has been setup to acquire Jaya's Poes Garden residence named Veda Nilayam. Tamil Nadu Government set a deadline of four months by which Veda Nilayam will be acquired. The revenue department will soon unseal two rooms from Jaya's residence informed a source.

Jayalalithaa's close aide V Sasikala occupied the residence which will soon be turned into a museum for public visit. The market value of the property is expected to be Rs 72.09 crores as per the affidavit filed by Jaya during 2016 Assembly elections. Apart from the sealed rooms, the rest of the house has been observed by the revenue officials. The Income tax department wanted some more time for the sealed rooms to be opened after which the Tamil Nadu government decided to take four months time for the process to be wrapped up. The entire house will be made into a museum and Jayalalithaa's valuables will be placed for public visit.
