Telangana Witnesses Rise In Groundwater Levels:- Telangana state has been left in shock after the levels of groundwater witnessed considerable increase that is unexpected and is shocking. Environment and Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna released a report which revealed the same. Environmental Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI) conducted a survey and they have found that the groundwater lelves over the major mandals in the state have been high now as compared to that of 2015.

The government promoted large scale water conservation structures which is the major reason for the rise in the groundwater levels informed a source. Also the various programs initiated by the government contributed towards replenishing groundwater resources. With receiving good amount of rainfall too is a reason and the government has been taking enough measures in all those mandals where the groundwater levels have been deploying.
