Finally: Tamil Nadu Theatre Strike Called Off:- The Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council (TFPC) has been protesting against the digital providers (DSPs) in the state for the huge hike in the digital charges. All the theatres across Tamil Nadu have been shut from March 1st and despite of several steps of discussions, no solution has been found. TFPC revealed that they are not in a mood to compromise and will go ahead with the protest though they have been losing crores of money. Tamil Nadu Government too started negotiating with TFPC and DSPs after which a possible solution has been locked.

TFPC President Vishal addressed the media that the strike has been called off after the DSPs agreed to slash down the digital charges by 50%. Tamil Nadu Government will pass a Government Order (GO) to bring computerized bookings in all the theatres across Tamil Nadu from June 1st after which TFPC said to reinstate their work. Now all the films that have waiting for release since March will hit the screens soon.
