Horrific Train - Van Clash Kills 14 School Kids In UP:- In a tragic accident in Uttar Pradesh, atleast 14 school children lost their lives after a speeding train rammed into a school van. The incident took place this morning in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh and 7 others have been left injuired. The incident took place at 7 AM when a school van carrying 25 students was passing a railway crossing in the town and stalled on the track suddenly. All the students belonged to Divine Public School and 14 students have been killed on the spot.

Seven others have been rushed to a nearby hospital with severe injuries. UP CM Yogi Adityanath rushed to the spot and called the incident tragic. The primary investigation revealed that the incident took place due to driver's negligence. It has been revealed that the driver was carrying earphones while driving and he never heard the train's horn. A high level enquiry has been ordered and Rs 2 lakhs compensation has been announced for all the families of the victims. Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed their deep condolences to the family.
