Modi Tweets That All The Villages Have Electricity, But It Is Not True:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently tweeted that all the villages of India have been electrified. Modi's tweet said "28th April 2018 will be remembered as a historic day in the development journey of India. Yesterday, we fulfilled a commitment due to which the lives of several Indians will be transformed forever! I am delighted that every single village of India now has access to electricity". Modi specially mentioned Leisang, a village from Manipur is now electrified.

Though some of the villages managed to get electricity, there are several villages which are yet to get the facility. India Today revealed the list of villages which are yet to get the facility of electricity. Modi's tweet has been criticized all over and several replied about the villages through social media.
