Former Mumbai's Top Cop Himanshu Roy Commits Suicide:- Himanshu Roy is sure one of the toughest and sincere cops across the circles of Maharastra. He worked as the Chief for Anti-terrorism squad (ATS) and he committed suicide today after he shot himself with his service revolver in his residence. Himanshu Roy was the 1998 batch IPS officer. He has been battling with cancer and the prolonged illness along with depression are the reasons for Himanshu Roy killing himself said his close sources.

Himanshu Roy's suicide created a sensation all over. Himanshu Roy investigated some of the biggest cases in the country. 2013 IPL fixing case has been investigated by this honest cop. He has been on leave from some time and his co-officers lauded the work of Himanshu Roy. His death is a huge loss for Maharastra police informed MN Singh who worked as a superior for Himanshu Roy.
