Five Pilgrims Killed In Landslide On Amarnath Yatra:- With the harsh weather and heavy rains, five people have been killed and three others have been severely injured in a landslide that took place on the Baltal route of Amarnath Yatra in Ganderbal district located in Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place last evening and the landslide hit between Railpatri and Brarimarg on the Baltal route informed an official. Four men and a woman lost their lives in the incident and the three injured have been rushed to the hospital.
The bodies of the deceased have been brought to Baltal base hospital and they are yet to be identified. The medical response teams have been alerted. Before this minor flash floods hit Baltal base camp but there has been no human loss. Due to the heavy rains in the region, Amarnath Yatra has been kept on hold. The cops and the other security forces have been monitoring the situations and they have been helping the pilgrims.
