Kerala Tells Centre To Accept Rs 700 Crores Offer From UAE:- South Indian state Kerala has been left shattered with the rains. The state received immense support from all the corners of the country and several celebrities, common people donated for the state. UAE Government offer a financial assistance of Rs 700 crores for Kerala but the Centre politely rejected saying that they have enough funds to re-construct Kerala. Now the Kerala Government asked the Centre to rethink about this and accept the offer. It asked the Centre to go by National Disaster Management Plan (NDMP).

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan revealed that National Disaster Management Plan brought out by the Centre in 2016 clearly reveals that any voluntary assistance from other countries can be accepted. He even said that the talks are on and this would be resolved soon. The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is required to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs that is responsible for reviewing such offers. An update is expected in the next couple of days.
