Security Tightened Ahead Of Tirumala Brahmotsavams:- Brisk arrangements are being made in Tirumala for the Brahmotsavams which will take place this month. The security has been tightened in and around Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple. According to the traditional lunar calendar, two Brahmotsavams have been planned this year. Brahmotsavams will start from September 13th and will continue for 9 days. All the special darshans are cancelled considering heavy rush during the season.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, on behalf of the State government will offer silk clothes to Lord Venkateswara on September 13th. Garuda Seva will take place on September 17th and Rathotsavam will take place on September 20th.The second Brahmotsavams named Navaratri Brahmotsavams will commence from October 10th. A purification ceremony will take place in the temple in which the temple complex will be cleaned with herbs, turmeric, vermilion and camphor.
