TDP Ex-MP MVVS Murthy dies in a Car Accident in USA: TDP Senior leader Ex-MP and Andhra Pradesh MLC MVVS Murthy along with three others has been killed in a road mishap that took place in USA. Murthy is the founder of GITAM University and is a successful businessman. The incident took place at 3 PM (USA time) when Murthy along with his four friends were travelling to Alaska state for a wild life safari. The minivan collided with a truck and four among the five lost their lives.

Two of them died on spot and two others were rushed to his to hospital to Anchorage city who passed away in the hospital. The other victim Kadiyala Venkat is in critical condition. MVVS Murthy played a prominent role in TDP and AP politics. He worked as Vizag MP in 1991 and 1999 respectively. Known as Gold Spot Murthy, he is a successful businessman and his grandson Bharat got married to Tejaswini, the younger daughter of Nandamuri Balakrishna. Rest in Peace MVVS Murthy.
