Megastar No Longer In Congress:- Megastar Chiranjeevi has been an undisputed king in Telugu cinema and he showed sheer dominance for over three decades. He soon floated his own political party Praja Rajyam and after a huge defeat he merged it in Congress. Chiranjeevi served as a Union Minister during Congress regime and soon after Congress lost charm, Megastar decided to stay away from politics. Soon he made his comeback in Tollywood with Khaidi No 150 and is busy with the shoot of Syeraa currently.

There have been wide speculations that Megastar will campaign for Congress across the Telugu states. AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi too requested the veteran actor to support the party and turn active in politics. The latest updates say that Megastar is no longer interested in politics. Megastar's Congress membership expired recently and the actor is no mood to renew it. Some of his close sources revealed that Megastar is keen on films and is not in a mood to make his entry back as a politician. Several Congress leaders wanted Megastar to campaign but they did not get a positive nod.
