Sasikala Questioned By IT Officials In Bengaluru Prison:- Sasikala, the close aide of Tamil Ex Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is currently in Bengaluru Central Prison. The former General Secretary of AIADMK has been questioned by the Income Tax Department officials yesterday in the Bengaluru prison. There are talks that Sasikala will be questioned once again today in Parapanna Agrahara Prison. The questions have been related to their raids that were conducted in November 2017. The raids took place in Poes Garden residence of Jayalalithaa.

The Chennai IT Officials arrived at 10 AM yesterday and the interrogation continued till evening. Several documents, papers and pen drives have been seized during the raids and Sasikala was questioned about this. In order to take the investigation forward, Sasikala was questioned. Sasikala will be further grilled by retired Justice Arumugasamy Commission soon in regards with the death of Jayalalithaa. The Commission already wrote to the jail authorities and are waiting for the response. Sasikala has been announced guilty in the disproportionate assets case and is in Bengaluru jail from February 2017.
