Andhra Man Kills Himself Near Babu's Protest Venue For Special Status:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu staged a day-long protest in the national capital against the Centre for ignoring Special status for AP. A man from Andhra Pradesh killed himself yesterday near AP Bhavan in New Delhi where Chandra Babu took his fast. The man has been identified as 40-year-old D Arjun Rao and is a native of Srikakulam district. He was found dead in a wheel chair. The cops shifted his body to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in the city. A suicide note has been recovered from Arjun Rao's pocket after which the cops came for a confirmation about his death.

Arjun Rao mentioned he is ending his life after Centre refused to grant Special Status for his state Andhra Pradesh. Chandra Babu Naidu announced Rs 20 lakhs ex-gratia for the family of the deceased. His last rites will take place with official state honours said Chandra Babu. He requested people to fight for their rights instead of ending their lives. Several crucial national leaders who opposed Narendra Modi's rule in the country supported Chandra Babu and his protest yesterday. Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, Yashwant Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha, Sanjay Raut visited Chandra Babu and extended their support.
