Tight Security In Vizag Amid Narendra Modi's Visit:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in the port city Vizag and tight security measures have been imposed after the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the Congress, Left parties, Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the 'Prateekya Hoda Sadhana Samithi' decided to protest against Modi's rally in the city. The city witnessed black hoardings asking Modi to go back or answer about the promised Special category status. AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu asked TDP leaders to stage protests with black flags and badges across the city during Modi's visit.

Babu said that Modi has no right to visit AP without fulfilling his promises. Last month Modi paid his visit to Guntur and his rally, public meets received poor response. The Centre announced railway zone for Vizag ahead of Modi's visit to the city. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal's announcement addressed one of the provisions of Reorganisation Act. BJP leaders from AP are expecting some big announcements during Modi's speech today for Andhra Pradesh. AP police deployed 2200 personnel in and around Railway Grounds where Modi will address a rally by BJP. Senior police officials led by Visakhapatnam Commissioner of Police Mahesh Chandra Laddha will monitor the security.
