Nampally Health Centre Doctors Summoned:- Telangana state government ordered an inquiry on the doctors and staff of Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Nampally after an infant died and 32 children remained hospitalized due to improper medication. The government promised to take against the doctors and summoned them for the tragic incident. The inquiry started at  District Medical and Health Office at Koti and UPHC staff attended the investigation today. Both Paracetamol and Tramadol have the same colour on the strip and instead of Paracetamol, the doctors and the staff gave Tramadol.

With this incident, one infant got killed and 32 are unwell. Jaffer Hussain Meraj, MLA, Nampally and Etela Rajendar visited and spoke to the parents of the infants. A high-level inquiry has been demanded and the Telangana government promised all types of aides for the families. G Kishan Reddy, Ramchandra Reddy and other BJP leaders demanded that the authorities immediately take measures to verify the medicines at the hospital. Chief Minister KCR is personally is monitoring the situation.
