Monsoon to Hit Hyderabad on June 12th:- Telangana is shattered with the heat wave which is the highest ever till date. With early drizzles, the people are left relieved but they are waiting for the monsoon to hit the state so that they would get relief. This year's monsoon is already delayed by a week and it is likely to hit the state by June 12th. The Meteorological Department (IMD) officials clarified the news and they confirmed that the state would receive 98% of the normal rainfall which is usually 750mm.

As per the Meteorological Department (IMD) officials, the entire state would witness monsoon by June 14th. The average normal rainfall in Hyderabad is 612 mm, Rangareddy’s is 543.7 mm and in Medchal-Malkajgiri, it is 672 mm. For the state, the average rainfall is 750 mm. Telangana is expected to receive huge rainfall during July and August informed IMD. Telangana state witnessed thunderstorms and heavy rains in the past one week.
