20,000 Illegal Hoardings Removed in Hyderabad:- The GHMC officials issued several warnings about the illegal hoardings in the city. Despite of several attempts, there is no change in the situation. The GHMC officials conducted surprise raids across Ameerpet, SR Nagar and Maitrivanam yesterday and the raids continued for 12 hours. Over 300 employees worked on these raids along with 30 vehicles, other specialized machines and 4 JCBs.

Only 50% of the hoardings have been removed and the GHMC officials are expected to continue the raids today till they completely remove the illegal hoardings. Several coaching centres in this stiff competition ignored the rules and floated hoardings across the busiest places in the city. GHMC also issued a strict warning that they would continue removing all these illegal hoardings in the coming days.
