YS Jagan's Promise for Kadapa Steel Plant:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced setting up an integrated steel plant in Kadapa. He even announced about the construction of Rajoli and Jaladarasi reservoirs on Monday. The foundation stone for Kadapa steel plant will be laid on December 26th which was left pending. YS Jagan even promised about the steel plant in his party manifesto during the polls. The Kadapa steel plant promise was made by the Centre after the bifurcation of AP as per Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014.

The final call about the funding of Kadapa steel plant will be taken by the NDA Government. A detailed discussion would be made after which the calculations would be revealed. Earlier Chandra Babu laid the foundation stone earlier but there was no progress. YS Jagan will lay the foundation stone in Jammalamadugu for the steel plant. Jagan ensured that the steel plant will be constructed in three years and promised 20,000 jobs.
