Saravana Bhavan Founder Rajagopal Passed Away:- Saravana Bhavan founder P Rajagopal was convicted in a murder case recently and he passed away in a private hospital today in Chennai. The 72-year-old businessman has been admitted in Vijaya Health Centre after he suffered cardiac arrest. He recently surrendered before the Madras High Court after he was sentenced life term for murdering one of his employees. Though he sought more time to surrender, the Supreme Court rejected his proposal.

P Rajagopal was asked to surrender by July 7th. As per the investigation, Rajagopal met an astrologer and he suggested the businessman to marry Jeevajothi, the daughter of one of his employee to turn richer after which he started his attempts. P Rajagopal failed to do so after several attempts and he then decided to murder Shantakumar, the husband of Jeevajothi. Shantakumar was murdered on October 2001 in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. The investigation said P Rajagopal was the culprit.
