Chandrayaan 2: Everything Going as per the Plan:- India is set for a historic day this night as Chandrayaan 2 is all set to land near the south pole of the moon between 1.30 AM and 2.30 AM on Saturday. The lander Vikram houses the six-wheeled rover Pragyaan that will explore the lunar surface for around 14 Earth days. Chandrayaan 2 has an orbiter that will revolve around the moon for a year. As of now, everything is going as per the plan revealed ISRO Chairman K Sivan told media. Chandrayaan-2's soft landing will be live streamed by Isro on its official YouTube channel, Facebook page, Twitter handle and DD National channel.
"We're going to land at a place where no one else has gone before. We're confident about the soft landing. We're waiting for tonight" told Sivan. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made a strong statement that Chandrayaan 2 is an attempt to divert the attention from the economic slowdown of the country. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that India, and the rest of the world will yet again see the exemplary prowess of our space scientists.

In a few hours from now, the final descent of Chandrayaan - 2 will take place on the Lunar South Pole.
