ABN and TV5 Banned in Andhra Pradesh:- Andhra Pradesh Government today asked the cable operators to stop telecasting ABN and TV5 channels in the state. The Government took the move as per the instructions of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The ministers and officials chaired a meeting with the Multi-System Operators (MSOs) and proposed to ban ABN, TV5. The move came after AP Government failed in Chalo Atmakur's move.

Andhrajyothy already published about YS Jagan's order saying that the channels ABN and TV5 should be seen anywhere in the state. Andhrajyothy claims that YS Jagan is upset with the recent Chalo Atmakur episode which brought enough sympathy for TDP and negative wave for the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Though MSOs along with Cable operators explained about the TRAI regulations, the ministers and officials did not listen. Earlier, Telangana Chief Minister KCR banned tv9 and ABN.
