25 Injured in a Grenade Attack in Srinagar:- Over 25 people got injured and one person was killed in an attack in a market in Srinagar today. The incident took place in Maulana Azad Road in the city. Nine of the injured are in critical condition and are rushed to a local hospital. The investigation is currently on. The area is cordoned off for the searchers. The footage on television showed a large security presence in the area. The incident took place during the peak hours in the market because of which 25 people got injured.

A grenade attack took place last week in Kashmir's Sopore and 19 people got injured in the incident that took place on October 28th. This happened a day before the delegation of European Parliament Members (MEPs) paid their visit to Jammu and Kashmir. The security got beefed up in the region after these attacks. Today's attack is the third one in the valley state in the last two weeks. The attack took place at 1.20 PM in the market. The Centre recently scrapped Article 370 and announced Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories: Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh.
