KTR Orders to Close Biodiversity Flyover After a Massive Car Accident:- A massive car accident took place on the recently opened Biodiversity flyover after a speeding car lost control and landed down from the flyover. The car zoomed at 104 kmph and fell off to the ground which resulted in the death of a woman. The car rammed into the cement concrete crash barrier of the flyover. The video byte created a sensation and went viral all over. Soon social media erupted about the cury bend which led to the accident. Before much damage could happen, Telangana Minister KTR responded on the same asking the officials to close the flyover temporarily.
Distressed to hear about today’s accident on Biodiversity flyover. Prima facie it appears to be result of over speeding; have directed GHMC Engineer-in-Chief & @cpcybd to close the flyover & get speed control/safety measures in place & an independent expert committee evaluation

The driver, Kalvakuntla Krishna Milan Rao, a resident of Jubilee Hills, failed to negotiate a curve and lost control, said Madhapur ACP N Shyam Prasad Rao. The car fell on a tree, killed the woman, skidded for a few metres, damaging several vehicles parked. "Speed limit on the flyover is 40kmph and it's clearly shown in signboards. The car that lost control was driving at over 100kmph, way beyond the prescribed speed limit. Nevertheless, innocent bystander's death is tragic. We will rectify any design issues too to prevent recurrence" said KTR.
